The Publicus Community, a full service branding and public relations agency specializing in real estate developments has become the advertising agency of record for Deep Water Cay, The oldest bonefishing resort in the Bahamas.
Deep Water Cay, located off Grand Bahama Island, was founded in 1958 by A.J. McClane and Gil Drake – two of sport fishing’s legendary anglers. The pair felt the island was the ideal location for unforgettable fishing experiences. Today, guest come to Deep Water Cay from across the globe to experience one of the most acclaimed bonefishing destinations in the world.
In addition to fishing, Deep Water Cay offers activities for the entire family including: scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, sailing, and kayaking.
In 2013, Deep Water Cay will invest heavily in renovating the island’s Lodge, Bar area, and break ground on the first of a collection of residential cottages known as the West End Cottages.
The Publicus Community will partner with Deep Water Cay to manage the rebranding efforts that include: fully responsive website, digital and print brochures, Currents – a quarterly digital magazine reflecting the life and leisure of the community, and a collection of digital and printed marketing assets.
